The Jana Center manages a social investment portfolio through a three year agreement focused on empowering women by facilitating training opportunities and financial support to launch their own businesses with 613 beneficiaries in 2022 NEOM invited the center to set up an office within the region to enhance engagement with prospective female owned micro enterprises and improve their access to financing and supporting services This partnership aligns with NEOM’s SR objectives to enhance the Kingdom’s contribution to the international goals of eradicating poverty and gender inequality providing a critical stepping stone toward enhancing the quality of life for its people Jana Center for microloans goals focused on — Enabling families from NEOM and Tabuk regions to start businesses — Establishing a culture of self employment and self reliance — Improving individuals’ standard of living and enhancing productivity — Enabling the social and economic empowerment of women
