As part of the Career Counseling Program and our unwavering commitment to supporting the local communities of Duba and Tabuk, we collaborated with the Talent Academy in NEOM to launch a series of impactful training initiatives. 2024 saw Language Academy designed and delivered these programs focused on equipping local job seekers with critical skills to enhance their employability and career prospects.

Recognizing that securing meaningful employment requires more than just language proficiency, the training extended beyond English language instruction. It encompassed vital areas such as CV-building, interview techniques, and persuasive communication skills, ensuring a holistic approach to job readiness.

From an English language perspective, the programs emphasized workplace-related vocabulary and delivered content contextualized for professional environments. This tailored approach enabled participants to gain practical gain language skills directly applicable to real-world job settings.

The impact of these efforts was substantial, with several participants successfully securing employment, a true testament to the program's strength and effectiveness.

Building on this success, a new cohort of jobseekers has since enrolled in an online immersion course powered by Arizona State University, a valued partner of ERI.

Additionally, Talent Academy collaborated with NEOM Friends on the Talk Like a Local initiative, a language- focused program featuring conversational sessions facilitated by community members. This initiative, held from January to February 2024, aimed to help international NEOM staff integrate better by learning Arabic local expressions and customs. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Talent Academy for their invaluable collaboration and steadfast commitment to serving the local community. Their dedication to social responsibility is paving the way for a brighter and more prosperous future.
